Q: My own hair is cut very short and blunt, can I still get hair extensions and will they look natural?
Ans. : Absolutely you can and absolutely, your hair will look natural and amazing! Hair Enigma stylists are expert specialists in creating the most natural long locks with very little & very short hair. With years of experience, we have seen it all and can work with all lengths and thicknesses creating the very look you are wanting. As long as your hair is an inch or two we can give you longer, thicker natural hair extensions. Using the right amount of hair and layering the hair extensions perfectly, your blunt cut will be gone!

Q: I’ve heard hair extensions ruin your hair, is this true?
Ans. : Some hair extensions do ruin your hair (Or shall we say, some extensionist’s ruin your hair). Not everyone knows how to properly apply hair extensions nor does everyone know the best products, hair and supplies to use. HOWEVER, at Hair Enigma, all our methods are DAMAGE FREE. We take pride in using the very best hair and supplies that will protect your own hair. Our locks are encapsulated with silicone to give your hair the ultimate protection. Our fusion method is applied with a high quality Keratin Protein bond and special care is always given in every application and removal. So, while some types of hair extensions cause damage and are often applied by people who do not know what they are doing, this is not the case here. Hair Enigma Hair Extensions will NEVER ruin your hair.

Q: I live a very active lifestyle…swim, and work out a lot, can I do these activities with hair extensions?
Ans. : Absolutely, you can do anything and everything you did with hair extensions that you did without (You just might look and feel a bit hotter and a little more confident!)

Q: I highlight and color my hair, can I still do this with hair extensions?
Ans. : Most definitely, the methodical manner our hair extensions are applied make color and highlight touch ups all the easier.

Q: Will people be able to tell I am wearing hair extensions?
Ans. : Not unless you tell them! You will get repetitive compliments on how beautiful your hair is, but no one will ever think you have hair extensions because of how natural they look.

Q: My fried had hair extensions and said they hurt her dead, is this true?
Ans. : Hair extensions should not hurt. The first few days, (especially if you have never worn extensions) you will feel the extensions, but they should not hurt. If they are hurting this is because too little hair was taken in comparison to what is being attached. Hair Enigma uses a special ratio to prevent this from ever happening.

Q: Can I wear my hair up with hair extensions?
Ans. : You most certainly can! You can wear your hair up, down, in pig tails, in braids, buns, you can wear your hair however you want with Hair Enigma’s hair extensions. Your hair extensions will just give you a little more to play and work with. We leave a perimeter of your own hair around your whole hair line so you have ample room to style in any kind of way.

Q: Can I curl, straighten and use product in my hair extensions?
Ans. : We use ONLY the HIGHEST QUALITY, 100% Human REMY hair. We have spent much time finding the best suppliers in Indian, European, Italian and Asian hair. We chose the best match to your particular texture. And because our hair is true REMY hair, meaning the cuticle is intact, the hair can be curled or straightened as often as you like. Styling products can most definitely be used as well.

Q: How long will my hair extensions last?
Ans. : Your hair extensions will last as long as you want! You will need to come in for touch up’s between 4 & 10 weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows. Touch ups generally take an hour or two and consist of opening the locks and moving them back to the base of your scalp. The same hair is used and often the same locks. The actual hair can last 9 months to 2 years depending on the hair quality you chose and how you care for it. When new hair is needed, we take the old off and re-apply with brand new hair and the cycle goes on! Often clients do this until their own hair has reached it’s desired length.

Q: What if I decide to take my hair extensions out, is there a refund?
Ans. : All applications are final sale. No refunds are provided. Within the first two weeks, we are happy to make any changes free of charge. Our goal is to have a 100% satisfaction A+ approval rate where refunds are never even a thought!

Q: Will I lose hair extensions in between touch ups?
Ans. : It is possible you will lose a few here and there. Most often in the shower or when styling. You can save any lost extensions for reapplying during your next touch up. With the amount and manner our hair extensions are applied, losing a few each month won’t make a visual difference at all.

Q: How long does it take to put the hair extensions in?
Ans. : The initial application most often takes between 1 & 3 hours (Time variation depends on length and thickness of your own hair).

Q: If I am wanting more privacy during my appointment, is this possible?
Ans. : Absolutely. We have an area of the salon that is sectioned off for individual privacy needs. In addition, if you prefer the utmost comfort, privacy and convenience, we can come to you and provide our same great services in your home!

Q: My hair is very fine and thin, can I get hair extensions?
Ans. : Hair Enigma can do hair extensions on just about any type of hair. Because we do 5 different methods, there is always one that will work perfectly for every hair type. Our smallest locks (0.05) work perfect for our clients with finer hair.

Q: My hair is thinning on top to the point where my scalp is starting to show, can I get regular hair extensions?
Ans. : Most often when this is the case or any type of hair loss (alopecia, trichotillomania, chemotherapy, etc.) our Unique, non-surgical, non damaging, custom hair integration system is the ideal method (See Hair Loss Integration page). This method gives ultimate coverage for any type of thinning or balding. Hair extensions can then also be added for additional length and or thickness.

Q: Can you cut and color my hair?
Ans. : Hair Enigma specializes in hair extensions and hair loss solutions only. We can cut, layer and blend your extensions but if you are wanting color or cut to your own hair, we have specialist for each of these we can refer you to.
